Delivery times may vary depending on the destination, weather conditions, carrier delays, and holiday periods. Estimated delivery times are displayed at checkout before purchase.
Products with custom engraving are made specifically for you. Please double-check spelling, capitalization, and dates before placing your order.
Non-personalized items may be returned within 14 days if unused and in original condition. Engraved or personalized items cannot be returned simply because you changed your mind. However, if the product is defective, the engraving quality is unsatisfactory, or an engraving mistake was made by us, you may return the item and receive a full refund or a replacement item at no additional cost.
When we approve your return or issue a refund, the refund is sent to your original payment method (the same US card used at checkout).
Timing: Most refunds appear on your card within 3–10 business days after we process them. Business days are Monday–Friday and do not include US holidays.
“Processing” status: If your bank or card app shows the refund as processing or pending, that is normal. We submit the refund as soon as it is approved; your bank then posts it to your account on its own schedule.
What you may see: Some banks show a pending credit before the balance updates. Others may keep the original charge visible until the refund fully posts. The refund always goes to the same card used for the order.
Debit cards can take a little longer than credit cards — sometimes up to 10–14 business days.
If you do not see the refund after 10 business days, contact us at information@closertoheart.com with your order number. We can confirm that the refund was sent; if it was, your card issuer will need to trace it on their side.
If something is wrong with your order, contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos and your order number. We will make it right.
